The journey continues…

I’m happy to report that, as of this morning, I am down 17.5 pounds.  So I will plod along until I hit 20 pounds, then go to the mall (which I detest doing) and buy the next 2 charms for my bracelet.  Though I’m not one who enjoys shopping very much, I take great pride in making my bracelet purchases.  Often I have a choice in mind when I go to the store, but I do take time to look the charms over.  Last time I went home with a totally different charm than I intended buying.  And I love it!

I’m still adjusting to my school schedule and all it entails.   But so far it’s going pretty well.   Oh yeah, the new season of “Blue Bloods” starts Friday and I get to gaze on Tom Selleck’s handsome countenance weekly so life is good.

Nothing philosophical to add.  The thought of Tom Selleck renders me brain numb.  In a pleasant way…

About thequarryschild

A self-described forensic junkie, Beth Anderson spends her days shaping young minds to ask critical questions and wonder “whodunit.” Beth resides in the Capital District of New York and spends her free time reading and solving the great mysteries. Her love of swimming, tennis and sports provides the basis for one of the lead characters in her new book The Quarry’s Child. Beth is one of the founding members of the Upper Hudson Valley Chapter of Sisters in Crime (aka Mavens of Mayhem), a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy, a survivor of a visit to an active aircraft carrier while it was at sea, and a published poet in Soundings, a literary journal. Beth continues to instill a love for mystery fiction in her students as she has for over twenty years. Photo credit: Quinn Mulvey
